Team Awareness Trek

Team Awareness Trek, at the weekend, defeated Team Polio 3-1 in a novelty football match organised as part of the campaign to kick out depression and polio in the world.

The match, which was held at Ijanikin, Oto Awori, as part of the 2021 Awareness Trek promoting good mental health and campaign against depression, was organised by the Rotaract District 9110.

The District Rotaract Representative, Ayodeji Sobowale, who led members of the club on the campaign, said it was aimed at promoting possible ways to overcome depression.

The campaign held at the palace of the two monarchs of the community, the Onijanikin of Ijanikin Kingdom, Momodu Afolabi Ashafa and Oloto of Oto Awori Kingdom, Josiah Olanrewaju Ilemobade Aina.

The trek activities ended with erection of a billboard beside the highway in Oto Awori community.
