In the South West Zone, the League is being played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos with all the six states in the region participating.

The south -west zonal competition is featuring 18 male and 18 female teams and at the end of the competition, two teams will emerge to represent the zone at the national competition.

The National Volleyball League is the maiden competition being organised by Engr. Nimrod Musa-led board of the NVF.
