The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Adeyemi College of Education (ACE), Ondo, has inaugurated its 2016/2017 Students’ Union Executive and also got 18 pieces of magnetic boards from the outgoing executives.

The new President, Mr. Omosebi Oluwatobilola, in a speech commended the college management for the success of the last election, which produced him through an E-voting platform.

Omosebi promised that the welfare of students would be his priority. He noted that welfare includes: security and protection of students within and outside campus.

“We shall also work with the management to procure functional public address systems across all lecture theatres to ensure effective teaching/learning process.”

The immediate past executives led by Mr. Richard Ogunrotifa, donated 18 pieces of large magnetic board funded by the United Healthcare International (UHI).

Ogunrotifa urged UHI to do more for the college, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Provost, Prof. Olukoya Ogen, commended Ogunrotifa for outstanding performance, saying he should be given special commendation by the college management for maintaining peace and cordiality among the three arms that form the union and for presenting a financial statement of his administration, leaving N101, 000 in the Union’s coffers.
