Alvan Ikoku Varsity Students Hail Jonathan, Onwuliri For School Upgrade

GRATEFUL for upgrading the status of their school from College of Education to a university, students of the Alvan Ikoku University, Owerri under the platform of Students’ Union Government, have expressed their gratitude to the immediate past President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and the immediate past Minister of State for Education, Prof. Viola Adaku Onwuliri, and President Muhammadu Buhari for sustaining the upgrade policy.

Commending the upgrade policy a representative of the students’ Senate of the school, Henry Okafor, said, the university is now better positioned, adding that the products of the school would now have additional societal status conferral on them on graduation.
