IYFIAN Apostolic Fire Leadership Conference held on Thursday, December 2020. The network’s aim was to inspire a holistic gospel movement in the foundation and deeper area that results in spiritual and societal transformation.

In attendance were Rev. Samuel Olutoye; Archbishop Joseph Ojo; Bishop Bola Arinola; Dr. Emiko Amostsuka; Apostle Sam Tukura and Dr. Uchenna Chukwuegu, among others.

IYFIAN is a group of pastors or Christian leaders, who came together from different denominations, but connects around the ministry of an Apostle to form a formidable network. Here, we see spiritual transformation due to an increasing number of people loving God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and societal transformation as the result of an increasing number of people loving their neighbours as themselves.

A key factor in accomplishing this mission is that local pastors enjoy genuine friendship with one another. Chief convening officer at IYFIAN, Bishop Bola Arinola will make the network facilitating and effective one as his main goal. We intend to have a global spread of having international membership.

Our network is providing safe, thoughtful opportunities for pastors to gather for fellowship, prayer and mutual encouragement in every aspect of life. This takes the form of luncheons, prayer meetings and special events in which a topic of interest to pastors is presented, as the case may demand.

We believe meaningful pastors network like ours is marked by regular meeting rhythms, an established leadership team, denominational variation, connection to the wider regional gospel movement and includes a leader, who prioritises building connections with outside community.

IYFIAN will be influencing pastors positively by shaping characters and helping pastors/church elders build their local churches through provision of necessary training for free and equip members in terms of human capital development. We agreed to gather once in a month and offer major programmes twice in a year between June and December, where our fathers in the faith from different ministries shall be invited to lead us into causing fresh revival. Each gathering of our monthly meeting shall be having components of professional development, relationship building, and soul care.

We are also going to be working with pastors in this network to raise the bar for pastors’ ministries. While professional development, connection and soul care are central, our team envisions advancing to regionally collaborative kingdom efforts. We hope to see the network practising collaborative church-planting, championing faith and work efforts, engaged in unified generosity and tracking our impact on our community through ongoing data efforts.

IYFIAN will create a simple scorecard to monitor our performances in terms of personal care, ministry growth and health.
