Make Money
3 John 2 reflects God’s mind for His people.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

That we may prosper. You don’t find poverty in His house, it is wealth and riches.

WEALTH and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever. Psalms 112:3
In the house of the righteous is much treasure: Proverbs 15; 6a

It is abnormal for one to be a member of a family and not live up to the standard of the home. A prince should have the aura of the throne. A lion does not give birth to a cat neither does an eagle behave like a chicken. A god must take on the nature of God.

However, there are factors that tend to make a god loose his or her original identity; where a prince may walk like a servant, and a servant walks as a prince (Ecclesiastics 10:7). Lack of understanding makes many true sons of the kingdom live less than their status. One can be born into a great family but must learn to imbibe the culture of greatness and the principles that will enforce continuity. Where the etiquette of greatness is not developed, one can stand the risk of losing one’s inheritance. A right balance is struck when you don’t just inherit but you learn to make wealth on your own

Abraham in all his riches did not commit material blessings unto Isaac, the heir to the throne. He gave gifts to his other children but to Isaac, he gave him all that he had.
And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. 

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country. Gen 25:5-6

All that he had; but not in material goods. I believe this can only be the essence of the Covenant that God cut with Abraham and his seed; the key to reproduce wealth, what it takes to be in charge, to rule, and to reign. It’s not about what eyes could see but the spirit of grace and favor. Isaac was not only to depend upon his inheritance but he was to make a destiny for himself. Using what He had even in difficult terrains of life to get what was needed.
Steps To Making Money

And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 

And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Here are some steps to make money; Genesis 26: 1-2

Follow Instruction
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Proverbs 4:13
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 

Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:33-34
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: Proverbs 12:1a
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: Proverbs 13:18a
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 24:32-34

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. Proverbs 9: 9
