The Anglican Diocese of Lafia, Nasarawa State, led by His Lordship the Rt. Rev. Godwin Adeyi Robinson has dedicated the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Old Custom Qtrs., Mararaba.
In his sermon titled: “Whose temple are you,” the Bishop said God wants the congregants to be a temple of Holy Spirit.
Tracing the origin of temple to the days the Israelites were worshipping God in tents in the wilderness, the Bishop noted that David had wanted to build a befitting temple for God, but God stopped him, saying He prefers his son Solomon, to do so.

Bishop Robinson disclosed that Paul in his Epistle to the Corinthian Church noted that Jesus Christ has laid the foundation of the temple (church) and we are to build on it. He urged members to rededicate their lives to God just as the new Church is being dedicated to Him.
Robinson also commended the Bishop of Kubwa Diocese, Rt. Rev. Duke Akamisoko for releasing the church to Lafia Diocese in 2019, as contained in the Deed of Dedication. He also appreciated those who donated towards the church building, especially the donor of the take off fund.
In his address, the Vicar of the Church, Rev. Godwin Ifejika, said he gave all the appreciation of starting, completing and dedicating the Church to God. He appreciated Bishop Robinson, his wife, Mrs. Afiniki Robinson, and the supervising priest of Mararaba Archdeaconry, Rev Canon Stephen Okwuchukwu for their support.
