Forms of sin and consequences

Beloved, it is proper to let you be acquainted with the fact that there is no righteousness in any unrighteousness. Every deviation from perfect holiness is sin, which include backsliding, anger, envy, bitterness, un-forgiveness, unbelief, malice, hatred, lust, covetousness, unclean thoughts, back-biting, murmuring, murder, abortion, kidnapping, lying, cursing and blasphemy. Others include, rejoicing at others’ calamities, strife and contention, craft and treachery, pride and haughtiness. And who ‘commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them’ (Rom. 1: 32). No unrighteous person will have inheritance in the Kingdom of God, because there is no unrighteousness in heaven.

1Cor. 6: 9- 10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

By the above scriptural declaration, many people are sentenced to Hell fire. Those who hold belief that the unrighteous could temporally be admitted in heaven, while waiting to be purified by the prayers of brethren, are ignorant of the Scripture’s position. The truth is that whosoever acted contrary to right attitude cannot inherit God’s Kingdom. Amendment of your life is now while you are alive, after which judgment comes. He who is not a child of God before he dies has no right to divine inheritance, for that inheritance is for the children of the Kingdom. Any man who is guilty of any one of the evils mentioned above is unrighteous and therefore a sinner.

It is unrighteous not to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He was crucified for our sin, died, buried and resurrected on the third day for our justification. It is unrighteous and abominable to be polluted with unnatural lust. It is unrighteous to be a murderer that takes the life of another for any cause, or hate a brother. You are a sinner, if you indulge in pornography, adultery, fornication, whoring, and prostitution. Sorcerers are sinners, who pretend to produce supernatural effects, chiefly by spiritual agencies, witchcraft, familiar spirits and necromancy. The idolaters are sinners, who offer any kind of worship or religious reverence to images, angels and statues other than God.

Liars are not exempted, for they are the chief sinners. This set of sinners, which include everyone who speaks contrary to the truth, when he knows the truth, and even he who speaks the truth with the intention to deceive, i.e., to persuade a person that a thing is different from what it really is, by telling only a part of the truth, or suppressing some circumstance, which would have led the hearer to a different end to the true conclusion. All these shall have their portion according to the Scripture in the lake, which burns with fire and brimstone from which there is no recovery. And there is no prayer of any man that can save the unrighteous after death.

Re 21:8 says, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Are you into polygamous marriage or have divorced your spouse? I want to let you know that you are a sinner. It is not spiritually lawful to put away your spouse and remain in enmity for whatever reason.Matthew 19: 3-4 says, “The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female.”

Marriage is between a man and woman, and it is for better or worse until death should separate them. If you have left your first wife or husband for one reason or the other, you must bring him/her back, otherwise you are a sinner. Every second, third or fourth wife or husband should return to the original home. The Scripture permits you to live with only your first spouse because God hates putting away of your spouse.

Mal 2:16 says, “For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.”

It is unrighteous to be or support a smuggler. It is a sin to smoke or sell cigarettes, take cocaine and Indian hemp, etc., or work where they are manufactured. It is unrighteous for a woman to expose her armpits, waist, hip, chest and other sensitive parts of her body. If you engage in masturbation, fraud, and abduction, you are unrighteous and, therefore, a sinner.

All those men who perm and curl their hair, weave or braid and make dread with their hair are committing a sin. It is a sin for women to wear trousers, shorts and other men’s garments, likewise men wearing such women’s garments as skirts and blouses.

Deuteronomy 22:5 says, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abominations unto the LORD thy God.”Woman that bleach their skin, apply paints on their fingernails and toenails, make-up their faces, wear weave-on, attachments and jewelries are into sin. The Scripture says those that do such things are spoilt people.

Jeremiah 4:30 says, “And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.”

Wages Of Sin And The Gift Of God
ROM. 6: 23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”There are rewards and punishments for every action men took in this world, whether of good or bad. The verse above unambiguously states that eternal death will be the punishment of sin, and eternal life the reward of holiness and holy persons. A sinner goes to hell because he deserves it, same with a backslider because he refuses to repent. But a righteous man goes to heaven because Christ has died for him. Every sinner earns this judgment by refusing to accept Jesus as Saviour. But God gives eternal life as His gracious gift to those who turn from sin.

Eze 18:20 says, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.”

Woe to sinners, because it shall be ill with them. Although the sinner may have a good father, but the righteousness of the father will not excuse him from punishment. What he deserves he will get, for he shall be paid that for which he has laboured, and his reward shall be in proportion to his work.

If God hates the wicked (sinner) and him that loves violence, why should I not flee from the wicked men? In the Book of Esther, Haman was very great in the palace, until he became wicked as he plotted to annihilate the children of God. The consequence of his wickedness was that he lost favour, and when the king abhorred him, the man before whom they had often trembled, was loathed and committed to death. If we can see the black mark upon the faces of our persecutors, we shall not run away from them.

Beloved, I urge you to examine yourself for the gain of this whole world is not comparable to the loss of one precious soul. The consequences of sin are terrible to behold. Any soul loss is an inconceivable and irrecoverable loss. So, repent today by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your personal Saviour before it is too late. Do not exchange the everlasting joy with the pleasure of this life.Mk 8:36, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Old Life Renewed, As Armed Robber And Drug Addict Surrenders To Christ.My name is Brother Isaac (surname withheld). I hail from Eleme in Rivers State. I want to share testimony of how the true God transformed my life. He made me drop robbery to become an evangelist. The God that delivers people from sins and criminality is, indeed, the true and powerful God.

I was initiated into cultism during my student days at Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Delta State. In the process, I became a drug addict and armed robber, in order to courageously meet the demand of my assignment. Thus, I have wasted lives of many innocent people. In 2008, after a cult war in some universities, I was given photographs of six people from a rival cult. They were assumed to be responsible for the death of our cult members.

We took the photographs and travelled to consult the gods we worshipped, called spirit of prince Oden, which is supposed to be in the Bermuda Triangle. The spirits requested as sacrifice biscuit and chewing gum, which we supplied after consultation. Thereafter, we were told that the sacrifice had been accepted and the spirit of the boys we were about to destroy had been remotely placed under captivity.

With this assurance, we travelled to their university, arrived at their campus by 7pm and lodged in a hotel. The next day, we went to spy on the boys, but to our chagrin, we discovered they were ready to do whatsoever we asked them to do, despite the fact that they belonged to the rival cult. Next day in the evening, we came out of the hotel, entered a restaurant and started drinking. We called the boys and they all came and joined us in the restaurant. We were 13 in number and we used three glass cups to form a triangular shape as a contact to prince of oden.

When the boys joined us, we offered them chicken laps and drinks. They ate, drank with us and returned to their hostels. Then at about 2am, we called them out and killed all of them. Immediately after the killing, we all dispatched and went underground. I set out for my own personal job of armed robbery. Fortunately or unfortunately, during one of our robbery operations that turned awry, I was arrested by the police, while armed with a gun. The policemen took me to State Criminal Investigation Department, where I was detained and showed me the photographs of people already killed and asked me to make a choice of how I would die.

When I contacted my parents, they were all surprised at what I was being accused of and was reluctant to visit me. However, my sister eventually came and met with the IPO, who through negotiation, made special arrangement for my release. Immediately after my release from detention, I went into armed robbery again.

In the first robbery after my release, I had encounter with a Chosen Pastor on apron going to the crusade. When he mentioned he is a Chosen, something struck me inside, and I became cold. All the boldness in me vanished and I became speechless. It was there the God of Chosen arrested me. Then the Pastor said I should promise I would be a Chosen. Without hesitation, and as if I was remote controlled, I did. He took me from there to The Lord’s Chosen crusade. During ministration, the General Overseer prophetically mentioned my case and prayed. Behold, I fell under anointing. After this encounter, I dropped everything about armed robbery, drug addiction and cultism. And since then, I joined the evangelical group and have been baptised.

I pray that God will forgive me for the innocent people I wasted their lives. I appeal to parents to advise their children not to join cult, because it leads to premature death.
