God’s blessings for Christians

God has made enough provision for the wellbeing of His children (Christians) both here on earth and in heaven. The earth is an extension of the Kingdom of Heaven and the provisions in heaven are also obtainable here on earth.

Sister Elizabeth Shotowun (middle) testifying how she received her healing after been blind for two years at the Lord’s Chosen programme, titled, “…And The Enemies Submitted” at the national headquarters Church in Ijesha, Lagos

Proverbs 10:22, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

God has made enough provision for the wellbeing of His children (Christians) both here on earth and in heaven. The earth is an extension of the Kingdom of Heaven and the provisions in heaven are also obtainable here on earth. To fully get these provisions you must be a true child of God. Although, God created all human beings, not all are His children.

The original plan of God at creation was to make the earth a colony of the Kingdom of Heaven with the same rules and regulations to govern both places. The Devil, however, scuttled this divine plan by making our first parents, Adam and Eve, to fall into the sin of disobedience and God turned His back on them. Our first parents lost the kingdom because of this. God, for the love for human beings, promised to send the seed of man to bruise head of the serpent and recover the kingdom from him.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, came to declare the word of reconciliation between man and God and also help man to regain the lost kingdom. Jesus Christ began the mission by converting the lost people of God; making them to go back to God. Aside from this, He introduced the kingdom principles that separated children of God from things of the world. On their request, He taught them how to make request to God and get the kingdom blessings prepared for them right from creation. In Luke 11:2-4, Jesus Christ taught them to pray thus: “And he said unto them, when ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3: Give us day by day our daily bread. 4: And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”

Prayer is either a petition or a request to God. It is meant to move God to release His blessings to His children, the Christians. This well-loved prayer called our Lord’s prayer, because Jesus Christ is the author, fulfills the purpose of asking anything from God. This model of petition was given on two occasions: one, at the sermon on the Mount and the other at an unnamed venue when Christ was warning His disciples against ostentatious formality during prayers. The prayer satisfies the many lessons on prayers. It shows our relationship with the Almighty God, as the Father of all who truly believe in His Son. It is only on the basis of this relationship can we boldly call God our Father. Prayer must begin with an attitude of worship. “Hallowed be thy name,” is an acknowledgement of the absolute holiness of God. Prayer must put the kingdom first and His coming from heaven. True prayer accepts in advance the will of God whether known or not, granted or withheld. Prayer must foresee the divine will and the kingdom as an objective that must be realised on earth.

Unfortunately, the children of God are much more concerned with their immediate physical needs, some do not know that sins hinder prayers from being answered. Sins break the fellowship between man and the Father. To avoid this, God’s children must be taught how to maintain unstrained relationship with their Father.

The Kingdom of God has principles that enable God’s children access provisions. As earlier stated on this page, in any country where life is given its due value, government sets up organised system of trade for effective distribution of goods and services. To make this practicable, it approves a common currency (legal tender) and anyone who does not have it will not be able to buy or sell in the country. In God’s Kingdom the common currency for obtaining anything is faith. Every citizen must have faith in God to access kingdom’s blessings. Prayers made in faith opens kingdom’s treasure for healing, favour, blessings, power, and other material or spiritual needs. Matthew 4:23-25 says: “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases among the people. 24: And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with evil spirits, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them. 25: And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.”

To unveil the process of reconciling man to God, Jesus Christ began to heal, deliver people from evil spirits, preach the gospel and did many other good works. He is God as well as man and that power brushed off on all the children of the kingdom.

On acceptance of our Lord Jesus Christ, we should be involved in the kingdom work and God will bless us for doing this. John 14:12 says: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.”

The kingdom blessings are for those who do the work of the kingdom by preaching the gospel, healing the sick and many others. It is through prayer made in faith that God can release His blessings to the people who believe in His power to do all things. As many people as possible that have genuinely repented, accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are qualified for the kingdom blessings. While still living here on earth, we can operate as children of the kingdom by doing kingdom’s work and enjoying the provisions that come with it.

In the lead scripture the Bible says that the blessings of God make one rich and does not add any sorrow. It could be your portion today, if you take a decision to honour God by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Doing this, you will be lifted to operate in accordance with the kingdom principles. 1 Samuel 2:30 says: “Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me forever: but now the Lord saith, be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” God honours those that honour Him. He simply wants man, WHOM He has created in His own image, to worship Him in truth and in holiness.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing

Lineage Curse Broken, Two Baby Boys Granted
My name is Brother Chimezie Anezi. I live in Ogun State and joined this ministry in 2013. First, last year, my younger sister was delivered of a child and a few weeks after the delivery, she became insane. I told her husband to bring her to me, which he did and after that he ran away. I tried all I could to save the situation, but all to no avail. To God be the glory, there was an upcoming programme then, titled: “God Has Sworn To Bless You,” slated for July 31 and August 1, 2021, which I took her to. While awaiting our G.O to mount the pulpit, I made a vow that if God healed my sister, I will appreciate Him with the sum of N200,000. By God’s grace on the Sunday of the programme, our G.O mentioned her case and I claimed it and on Wednesday of the week after the programme my sister began to ask me what happened to her. Four days later, she fully regained her senses. I give God all the glory for removing that reproach from my family. Praise, the Lord!

Moreover, I thank God for breaking the yoke of being the only son in my lineage. My father was the only son, he gave birth to me as the only son. Before I joined this ministry, I had two daughters and one son. By the time the fourth child was to come, I have joined the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement. So, when my wife went to the hospital for scan and doctor told her that the baby would be a girl, I brought the matter to church and tabled it before God. In one of the crusades our G.O mentioned the case and I claimed it. When I got home, I told my wife that our G.O has spotted the case and I strongly believe that the matter is settled. Immediately, she brought out the scan result and tore it. She also made a vow to God that if He gave her a second male child that she will appreciate Him with the sum of N500,000. By God’s grace on the ninth month, my wife had a bouncing baby boy. Praise, the Lord! She has since redeemed her vow.

Lastly, a year after I joined this ministry, I donated a plot of land to the church branch in Ogun State, where I stay, for the construction of a fellowship centre. I also put a makeshift structure on the land for members to worship and promised to put up a better structure when the number increases. However, within this period, my business suddenly crumbled; things became hard for me and members of my former church began to mock me, saying I should come back to them. I encouraged myself in the Lord and assured them that all was well.

Despite this, I was persistently telling God to give me money to build a church for Him. One night, in a dream, our G.O. came to the place and said to me that he saw that we are building and he would like to support us, so, he gave me some money and I awoke. I met my branch pastor and narrated the dream to him, he told me to calm down that God of Chosen was about to do something. Before then I had vowed to God that if He restored my business and customers that I will buy all the bricks that will be used for the construction. In three months, my business that had been in comatose for two years came alive and I began to redeem my vow. Surprisingly, the more I donated to the ongoing construction works, the more customers I got.

To the glory of God, the church building is now completed and was dedicated on February 20, 2022. I give God all the glory. God also blessed me with a Sienna car. May the name of the Lord be glorified forever in Jesus’ name… Amen!
