Introduction
We must be fruitful in every area of life. Failure to evangelise and win souls is potentially fatal to sinners and saints. It is an omission that must be urgently corrected. We must seize every opportunity to witness in faith and the Lord will step in and help us. Equally important and urgent is diligently nurturing and grounding the souls in the Christian faith, until they become established soul winners themselves. The consequences of ignoring these pivotal commands are too dire to be imagined.

The Marks
When a person repents and receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, the reality of the conversion will be clear and unmistakable. Everyone should see the newness and freshness of the new life – 2 Cor.5: 17; 1 Jn.3: 14; 1 Jn.5: 18. All the strands of the fruit of the spirit should come together and begin to show either at once or one after the other. – Gal.5: 18-25; Ezek.36: 26; Jn.1: 13 –. Sometimes, the change can be so vivid and dramatic that family and friends involuntarily exclaim, “You have changed! What happened?” No adversity, trial or temptation can cause a truly committed well-grounded soldier of the Cross to waiver. On the contrary, such soldier discerns the root source of the attack and become stronger – Rom. 8:35-39. – 1 Pt.5: 8.

Anchors Of Growth
The lifestyle and life choices of a true Christian will conform to the pattern laid down by Christ and set out in the Bible, which in fact becomes His code of life. Studying the written word, meditating thereon, memorising, reciting and applying it to every day real life situations become the default mind-set. – Mk.16: 15; Jn.9: 22; – Acts 17:10-12; Jn.14: 22-23; “Iron sharpeneth iron;…” – Heb.10: 25; Prov.27: 17; There will also be a vibrant prayer life and an overflowing cup of joy – Jn.16: 14; Jn.15: 4. The child of God will end up becoming a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God – Rom.12: 1-2.

Conclusion
It is hard to imagine what can please our Lord and Saviour more than fruitful evangelism. The Lord Jesus Christ is expecting us to continue the work He started on earth. He is always seeking broken, committed and faithful vessels into which He can pour His anointing and miracle working power. He will make a special vessel out of you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
