Adeboye, Tinubu, enjoin youths to imbibe fear of God
Nigerian youths have been urged to fear God, if they want to excel in their chosen fields of endeavour. Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, who made this known at the first Regional Redeemers Day held in Lagos, recently, observed that the fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom, will always make youths to be in tune with God. Speaking on the theme: “God’s strength for all times”, Mrs. Folu Adeboye, who was represented by Mrs. Rachael Odesola, wife of the Pastor for Region One of RCCG, said it’s imperative to rely on God for strength, as He is the ultimate source of strength that every youth needs to succeed.
She noted that the essence of organising the programme was to bring the event nearer to school children and parents in line with RCCG’s vision of having a parish within five minutes walking distance.
Said she: “Following a review of the 15th Redeemer’s Day celebrated at Redemption Camp, Mowe in March 2014 in conjunction with our father-in-the-Lord, it was resolved that the 2016 event be celebrated at the regional level.
The benefit of this decentralisation policy was to ensure the safety of our children, who no longer have to travel long distances to get to Mowe every year; to increase the participation of school children and their parents, who were unable to make the journeys in the past; to promote collaboration and partnership between the schools and their host regions; and to give every child and parent the opportunity of participating in the celebration before they graduate from their respective schools.”
Similarly, Pastor Odesola of Region One said God is man’s source of strength and anyone who wants to have strength must be connected to Him.
In her address, Senator Oluremi Tinubu noted that children are Nigeria’s future and must be given sound moral training, and that without God they would not be able to do anything.

There is no one to teach children the fear of God because fathers are mothers are both busy chasing after money in the name of prosperity. Mr preacher it starts with you. Stop making outrageous demands for donations and applying peer pressure.
We will review and take appropriate action.
