The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, has urged Christians to pray for peace of the country. The governor, who spoke in Lagos at the 20th anniversary of Christ Apostolic Miracle Ministry Inc., Source of Joy Resurrection Palace said Christians should be the change Nigeria needs. Ambode, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Religious Matters, Rev Dr. Kolawole Verralls said: “The change is when Christians stop lying, stop at red lights and market men and women stop cheating; let unity be maintained.”

The General Overseer and founder, Apostle Prophet (Dr.) Paul Oluwasegun Okikijesu, recalling how the church started, said: “It started as Christ Fire Anointing Ministry in 1995, as a fellowship centre, where people gathered to be fed with God’s Word. To the glory of Almighty God, the end-time revival fire spread, resulting in expansion that took place in CAMM’s duty post. God is increasing His church, both at home and even beyond this nation’s shores.

“God has been good to this ministry, as well as this country. My message to the people of this country is that Nigeria is going to be good. I have said it before that among the whole world; we have greater men of God in Nigeria. I have travelled to different parts of the world and I have seen that Nigeria is the best, when you talk of great ministers of God. So, my advice is that Nigerians should be serious in the Lord, and fear Him, because the coming of the Lord is near, there is no more time,” he said.

A pastor from the United States, Frank Akanbi said: “I am happy to be alive to witness today. It takes God’s grace, and I am happy to be a worker in this vineyard, where the truth reigns, and ministerial work is not about money or material things, but about salvation of souls.”
