It is God’s desire that you grow spiritually. The Bible said in Jude 1:20: “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” You must not be a spiritual baby or in kindergarten forever. Paul writing to the Jewish believers charged them to move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity (Hebrews 6:1).

They have been at the level of elementary knowledge of Christ for so long and Paul challenged them to advance unto full maturity in Christ. If you are dreaming of increasing spiritual capacity, you ought to have passed the level of telling lies by now. Let us move on from spiritual babies to mature adults. Let us move on from milk drinker to eating solid spiritual food.

We live in a world where to be powerless is to be weak and so you need to develop spiritual capacity lest you become a prey to the Devil. The only language the devil respects is the language of power. The Psalmist said in Psalm 66:3: “How awesome are thy deeds! So great is your power that our enemies cringe before you.” You need to be genuinely empowered, not theoretically empowered in this world where the wicked is having a free day on the powerless. Divine empowerment is mandatory for any child of God that wants to remain triumphant and victorious. The Bible said for as many that receive Him, He gave the power to become the sons of God (John 1:12).

Your destiny is at high risk without divine empowerment. A lion will not require a wolf to keep his gate. No animal has the capacity to protect a lion. Jesus is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5). You need the power of God for the demons to stay clear of your family.

Sin is a disconnection. For example, if the light is on and you switch it off the light will immediately go off. That is the way it is with our God, when you sin, it immediately disconnects you from God. If you live in sin, you get disconnected from your source. You should consciously overcome sin. Say no to sin, no matter its attractions. If you want to receive the favour of God, you must be a friend of God; you must love God and be in good standing with God. You need to get connected with God.

God is all and all. If God opens any door, no man can close it and if He closes any door, no man can open it (Revelation 3:7). If God is with you, nobody can stand against you (Romans 8:31). Let the Parliament and the nations gather against you, if God is with you, they will fail. The devil knows this that is why he does not want you to live as a child of God.

God wants you to expand your financial capacity. God takes pleasure in your prosperity as a child of God (Psalm 35:27). Poverty is not one of the contents of God’s package for His children.

God said that silver and gold belong to Him (Haggai 2:8). I went through the list of men who related with God from the Old Testament to the New Testament and discovered, God richly blessed them. The Bible said that Abraham was very rich in cattle, silver and in gold (Genesis 13:2). God wants you to own your property. They say a tenant does not plant flower in his landlord’s house.
