Mark 9:20-27 says, “And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.”

Evidences abound of those who believed in the Bible days and the Lord granted them their very needs, even when such needs appeared practically impossible, still they were visited by the Lord and deliverances, healings and miracles, were given simply because they believed. And if only you too can believe as they did, the Lord will meet you at the point of your needs in Jesus name. Let us take a look again at the text we have just read in Mark 9:20-27

They sought to destroy him but upon meeting with the Master they were told that all they needed to do was to believe and the matter would be resolved immediately. It was made known to the father of the patient that his cry or lamentation was not what was needed to turn-on the power of God for the deliverance of his child but his faith. The question was not whether Jesus could, but whether the afflicted father could believe. Could he muster the needed faith in the deliverance power of Christ that would actuate the healing of his child? The healing power as our asset-base is universally available for all but will become productive when faith is applied. Without faith it is impossible to please or pull the deliverance power of God to your benefit.

The passage further reveals that the child’s father affirmed his belief and also asked that the Lord should help the part of him that did not believe. And immediately that admission was made, came the command of deliverance upon the child and he arose. God will do nothing in our favour without faith. That is why He asserted that if we canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Matt. 19:26 says, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

All things are possible to them that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe, and all those impossibilities and trauma that have defied human efforts and medication shall succumb at the feet of Jesus.

Examples Of Those That Believed Of Old And Their Benefits
We have read of the man, who believed in the Book of Mark 9:20-27, whose child was bedeviled with the epileptic disease, and the child was restored by the power of God through his belief. I don’t know what has been troubling you, which has defied solution and you are thinking you will not survive the sour effect of the burden, but I want to let you know that if you can believe today, that with God all things are possible, all spirits or demons on assignment to destroy your life and future shall be disgraced by the word and power of God, and you shall be liberated in Jesus name. In accordance with their belief and faith in what Jesus could do, the miracle never passed them by. So, I am telling you also that if you can believe, your miracle will never pass you by.

The same reposition of faith in the power of what God could do brought about total healing of the centurion’s servant. This servant was tormented by the demon of the spirit of palsy, who never allowed him a moment of respite. But as soon as the centurion approached Jesus Christ and a measure of belief, his servant, who was critically tormented received instant healing.

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Youth Choir singing during the church’s crusade in Isuikwuato, Imo State.

Matt. 8: 5-13, “And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”

Divine healing is a freeness of divine grace that extends itself to all men without exception. What was said to the centurion, is said to all, Believe, and you shall receive; only believe. The measure of faith in the working power of the Holy Spirit determines the measure of what you receive from Him. The healing of our souls is at once the effect and evidence of our interest in the blood of Christ. This centurion demonstrated a kind of faith and belief that marvelled the Lord and he had his way. And if you, too, reading this message will apply this kind of belief in your situation, you will have your way also in Jesus name.

Matt. 8:1-3 says, “When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” This leper was made whole because he believed and the miracle was instant. You too can get your miracle instantly, if you are willing to pay the price, which is your belief. Will you believe? I assure you that if you believe, you shall see the mighty hand of God in evidence and demonstration in Jesus name.

Wonderful Work Of God Repentance Of A Hardened Criminal
My name is Chinonso Nwokolo. I want to thank God for delivering me from the horrible world of armed robbery and turning my old, ugly life into a new one. My journey into the world of crime started in 2003, when I joined some friends in a highway robbery operation in Anambra State. And from there, we graduated into bank robbery.

During one fateful operation that turned sour in 2003, I was captured and imprisoned for three years, but somehow got released. When I came out, I debated on whether to continue or not. Eventually, another opportunity presented itself and we went to Ekeoba. This time, two of our gang members were apprehended and burnt alive by mobs at Ekeoba, while I escaped to Lagos. While hanging around in Lagos, I saw Chosen evangelical group doing publicity for their crusade, so I joined and hide myself in their midst. After the publicity, they went to the church and from there; they went to their homes. Since I didn’t have any home, I was stranded. While thinking of what to do, I joined some bricklayers to do manual work, and I was receiving between N2000 and N2, 500.

As someone that was used to spending lots of money, I became unsatisfied with the wages and rejoined my gang. It was a 10-man gang, but as at that time, five had died in action while five were alive. Among those alive were Ekwensu Aguleri, Caesar, Chinenyenwa, Buffer and me. One day, I received a call from Ekwensu-Aguleri that there was plan to rob a particular bank and that I should come immediately. I joined them and that operation fetched us N4.8m. However, in the hotel where we lodged, we didn’t know that SARS operatives from Awkuzu in Anambra State had trailed us there.

Before we knew it, they rounded us up. In the process of arresting us, they shot one of us, though their target was Ekwensu-Aguleri and I. Though they fired at us, but the bullets couldn’t penetrate; rather they just injured us. So, they apprehended and took us to Akwuzu SARS. After one week, we were transferred to the State CID and dumped there. We spent about six months in the State CID. Nobody visited us. One day, my IPO said to me: “This time, I will make sure you die here.” He told the D.P.O that I had killed many people and, therefore, they should be careful of me. Eventually, I was removed from there and dumped in a special cell called Angola 1, where I was brought out and tortured every two weeks. The torture was systematically executed to the extent that it required God’s mercy for one to survive it. You would cry all the tears in your eyes during the agonising exercise, but it wouldn’t melt your tormentors’ heart.

After paralysing me through beating my joints, they would turn me upside down and tied me on a vice, without food. I would be there from morning till evening, when they would come and untie me and returned me to Angola 1. Every week in that cell, five people would bathe with a bucket of water. Any day they called your name and asked you to come outside, that was the day you would die. One day, they called Ekwensu-Aguleri and suddenly, we heard some gunshots and that was how Ekwensu-Aguleri was wasted. Caesar was also killed the same way.
