TB Joshua: There’s no controversy over U.S. election prophecy

General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua, has given credence to his recent prophecy concerning the United States of America’s presidential election. He said the outcome of the election was an indication of power of prayers, adding that people conversant with the efficacy of his prophecies went into fervent prayers, begging God for the prophecy’s reversal.
The cleric compared the US presidential election’s outcome with that of biblical Jonah, who prophecied that God would destroy the city of Nineveh within 40 days, a prophecy, which was averted by sincere prayers of the inhabitants of the city.
Joshua, who spoke at a special Sunday service at the church’s headquarters in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos, told the congregation that he received many emails from some Americans confirming that his prophecy on the election spurred them to intense prayers, which God eventually hearkened to.
“Thousands of people that heard my prophecy prayed to God, they fasted and prayed that God should change the prophecy. That a prophecy was disclosed and did not come to pass does not mean that it is not authentic,” he said.
Confirming the power of prayer in prophetic utterances, Joshua said: “They know my antecedent that what I say always come to pass. As a result, they went to God in prayer. This is the power of prayer; it is not a crime to tell you. Look at the track record of the person that is talking; the boat will be rocked and there will be challenges. What else do you need? Let’s believe in the power of prayer.”
On 2017, the General Overseer advised Christians to draw closer to God, as the year will be a very harsh one.

How convivient for this false prophet. In the bible is hen some prophecies they start with thus saith the Lord..the information comes directly from God. So TB can continue to make false prophercy and just say it was prayer. This is not the first false prophercy he has made.
Examples of TB Joshua’s false prophecies include this about the 200-plus school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in April, 2014: “Unless I am not called by God. I place my career and calling on the line. That these 200 plus school children kidnapped, they have to be released immediately, unharmed and unhurt.” Over a year later they remain captive, with some possibly converted to Islam and carrying out terrorist murders. Therefore TB Joshua is condemned by his own words (Luke 19:22) as a false prophet. He also falsely predicted the 2014 Ebola crisis was over as it actually got much worse; and that the missing Malaysia Airline jet would be found in 2014 — it’s still missing.
The Bible says false prophets should be stone as he has prophercied falsely he should be considered a false prophet.
