We have started our great programme titled: “It is over.” Those in attendance yesterday witnessed the great move of God amid us. Today, promises to be greater than what we experienced yesterday because God is a progressive worker. He said in His words that the blessings of the later shall be greater than the former. So, count yourself privileged to be here today.
Yesterday, we saw God move in diverse ways amid us and there were different blessings from salvation of souls, to healing of different kinds, breaking of yokes and destruction of bondages, deliverances, age long battle God fought for us among others. Today, I don’t know what you have come with, but the assurance is, God that did it yesterday will do it again today. Whatsoever it is that you are passing through, our God is able to deal with it and you will get your victory in Jesus’ name.
Remember the case of the Israelites in the land of Egypt, they were afflicted for 430 years, but the very day God remembered them, He set them free. Today, God has remembered that your ugly situation and has decided that it is over, and so shall it be in Jesus’ name. God says in our text above that he has surely seen the affliction of His people (you) and He has come to deliver them (you). God will deliver you from that barrenness, sickness, affliction, poverty, heart failure, fibroid, diabetes, all manner of cancer, insomnia, moving object in your body, among many others.
Exo. 14:14 says: “The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace.” Truly, God is able to do what he has promised, why! It is because He has the power to do all things. According to Jer. 32:27, He said: “Behold, l am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?” Nothing is too hard for God, which is why we are rest assured that whatsoever, He has promised, He will surely accomplish it. In this programme, He said, your sorrow is over; poverty is over, backwardness in your life is over and whatsoever that are the works of the enemy in your life are over. So, this is a programme God has designed to make you to rejoice again because He will decisively deal with the enemies causing the troubles in your life and give you victory.
Mark 10: 46-52 says: “Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47: And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! 48: Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49: So, Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” 50: And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51: So, Jesus answered and said to him, “what do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” 52: Then Jesus said to him, “go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road (NKJV).
Be like the blind Bartimaeus, who did not mind the enemies of progress that wanted to hinder him from calling upon Jesus for his healing. In this programme, be determined and do not allow anything to distract you. One of the greatest qualities you will exhibit in this crusade is, you must have unshakable faith in what God can do. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, told blind Bartimaeus, “go your way, your faith has made you well.” You must have faith in God, for He is able to do all things. You should not lose sight of the fact that God says, “it is over” and you must believe Him that your troubles are truly over.
In John 11:33-44, he says: “Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34: And He said, “where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.” 35: Jesus wept. 36: Then the Jews said: “See how He loved him!” 37: And some of them said: “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” 38: Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39: Jesus said: “Take away the stone….” 41: Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42: And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43: Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44: And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go,”(NKJV)
Why are you weeping? The worst thing that can happen to any man or woman is death. Thank God, you are not dead, so there is great hope for you. And if God could raise Lazarus from the dead, l want to ask you; has God’s power changed? That your ugly situation is over; come to Him now! Believe it, before Lazarus was raised from the dead, his sisters and the Jews were weeping, thinking all hopes are lost, but when Jesus showed up, their sorrow turned to joy. I don’t know how long you have been weeping; weep no more! For the comforter is here!
Our second scriptural text above says: … “You are of God little children and you have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” Anyone in Christ, is an overcomer and as an overcomer, you are in dominion, no wonder the title of this year’s programme is ‘Our Year Of Dominion, Restoration, Great Explosion By Grace And Miracles. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that God has given us all that pertains to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to his own glory and excellence. There is no lack in Christ. Whatsoever is not of God in your life is over.
May be, as you are reading this message, you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, I want you to understand that, there is no more time and you are not the owner of your life. God who owns you can call you at any time, so, make haste now and give your life to Christ and you will be assured of eternal life in heaven at the end of this life. Heb. 9: 27 says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die and after this, the judgment.” Prov.16:25 notes: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
Repent and surrender your life to Jesus Christ now, and it shall be well with you.
