Prayer is deeper than believers thought. No one can fathom the depths of prayer; it can only be understood by God, Himself, because it is above man. But if man can attempt to explore the depths of prayer, his problems in life will be easily solved. Prayer pulls down mountains and brings victory to believers.

A prayerful believer is a threat to both demons and the devils. A man of prayer is untouchable. No power dare defeats him and no mountain is insurmountable before him. There are various kinds of prayer that a believer can explore for his personal victory. Paul understood these kinds of prayers. He went further to encourage the body of Christ to engage in all kinds of prayer.

The various kinds of prayers a believer can engage in are as follows: worship and praises kind of prayer, Psalm 146:1-2; Rev. 4:8-11; Gen. 3:8; fellowship kind of prayer, Gen. 3:8; Rev. 1:1-20; petition kind of prayer, Matt. 7:7; Luke 18:1-7; intercession prayer, Gen. 18:18-33; Exo. 32:30-34; binding and losing kind of prayer, Matt. 16:17; and warfare prayer, Eph. 6:10-17; 1 Cor. 15:32.

Believers have so long dwell in petition kind of prayer. Such prayer produces beggars in the house of God. It is high time believers leave the petition kind of prayer because it does not produce the result that will bring liberation in the body of Christ. The major reason many believers dwell in the valley of petition is as a result of selfishness and carnality. Carnality is one of the major setbacks to any ministry. It is an expression of carnality that makes a believer nonchalant while the battle to reclaim the lost territories of the church rages.

The plan of God is to ensure that His glory covers the earth as the water covers the sea. This cannot be achieved without serious warfare prayers. It takes real battle to dislodge the enemies of the cross and bring down the glory of God to the earth and the church. Jesus had a mandate to set the captives free. However, His mother and brethren hated him, but He was not deterred. He was determined to fulfill his mandate. No one should be distracted from God’s original mandate.

Kingdom power is a church that does not need any committee to carry out God’s mandate. Such committees are often distracted from God’s original mandate. The opinion of man or ideas garnered from the higher institutions either for administrative purpose or otherwise, is not needed in Kingdom power. God is physically present in Kingdom Power, therefore, human input is not required!

Warfare that brings the enemy face-to-face is what brings quicker result for a battle that would have ordinarily lasted for a long time. • Further reading: Psalm 105:14-15; Eph. 6:18; Psalm 146:1-2; Rev. 4:8; Deut. 1:6-7; 1 Cor. 3:1-3; Hab. 2:14; Isaiah 11:9; Luke 4:18; Isaiah 61:1-2; Heb. 10:7-9; Rev. 12:7-12; Gen. 3:115; Ezekiel 28:11-19; Dan. 9:20-25; 10:7-15; 2 Tim. 2:4; 1 Cor. 15:32; Matt. 4:1-11; Exo. 7:15; 8:1, 20; 9:1; 10:1; 3:7-10; Matt. 26:36-46; John 3:13-14. The scripture is replete with instances of those who engaged the enemies in battle face-to-face. Moses engaged Pharaoh in physical combat until he allowed the Israelites to go to the land God promised them. Angel Michael also engaged Lucifer in a fierce physical battle before he was cast out of heaven.

God institutes warfare prayer and Kingdom Power will not relent in this battle no matter the agitations of people around.
