The phrase, Day of Reckoning, refers to the day of God’s judgment in which everyone after death will give account of his or her activities on earth. It will be a day all earth-life actions and inactions, as well as all excesses will be judged and the wrong ones would be punished, while excellence would be rewarded. It is, indeed, the day of the Lord. In the scripture above, God made it clear that He is coming to reward everyman according to his works on earth. There is need for everyone to prepare for this great day, especially as God has said that the day will be terrible and dreadful. Rev. 20 v 11-12, 15, says: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it from whose face the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God, and the books were opened and another book was opened, which is the book of life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the book according to their works.15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
One must lead a holy lifestyle, for his/her name to be in the book of life. Heaven requires preparation. Whosoever wants to go there must be prepared for it and also run away from evil. 1 Thess.5 v 22, says: “Abstain from all appearances of evil.”
The gospel is clear on this. It says obey the Lord, your God, do His work, believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him; these are some of the ways to prepare oneself for heaven. Unfortunately, many people are so much interested in the things of the world, acquiring wealth at all cost without regards to the will of God. It is important you obey and serve the Lord and He will prepare you for that fateful day.
Revelation 1:3, says: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” The gospel of Jesus Christ is calling you for repentance. Today, It is preached everywhere, listen and accept Him. There is reward for hearing and accepting the gospel and putting its commands into practice as a way of life. God lacks nothing; He said to Abraham because you have done this thing: “In blessing, l will bless you.”
So, what God requires from us, is complete obedience. Once anyone does the will of God, He will bless him/her. Your prayer should be for God to give you the grace of righteousness because Isa. 54 v 14a, says: “In righteousness shall thou be established…” You should understand that God created you for a purpose and that purpose is to take pleasure in you. And God can only take pleasure in you when you live holy and serve Him in truth and spirit. If truly you understand that the paramount thing God created you for is to serve Him, you will channel all your effort and strength to serve Him. Anything outside God is secondary. Hear what God says in Eccl. 12v13: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” Every other thing man does apart from fearing God and keeping his commandment is secondary. Heed the warning in 1Corinthians 7:29-31: “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth that both they that have wives be as though they had none. 30: And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not. 31: And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.”
While we look to God for earthly blessing, heaven should be our main focus. There is no time to waste in this heavenly race, hence do not put much attention on earthly possessions because they will all end and perish here on earth. The word of God will always be fulfilled at the appointed time. It is important to adhere to the warnings of the end time. At every point in time understand that the ultimate blessing of God is eternal life in heaven; this should be our major priority. You are not reading this message by accident, rather it has been ordained that you will read this message at this time. Please take a drastic decision to earnestly serve God after reading this message.
Matthew 24:27, 32-35, says: “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.” The power of God is coming down to bless those that will surrender their lives to Him and serve Him without looking back. You should adhere to these warnings now and repent from all forms of sinful activities because God does not answer the prayer of a sinner. 32: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. 33: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34: Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” He who has ear should hear what the Lord is telling the people of the world and abide by it.
Anybody who wants the blessings of God must be both hearer and doer of the word of God because it is a qualification for blessing of God here on earth and for entering heaven. If you take these counsels and apply them to your life, God will bless you. And as you continue to present yourself in His presence sinless and spotless, He will qualify you for heaven in Jesus’ name.

I am here to confirm that the God of this commission answers prayers and if you have been doubting this; please have a rethink, because I am a living witness. My name is Evelyn Akanna, I am testifying on behalf of my son who is now in Europe. When he was in his third year in the university, he secured a job where he was paid #200,000 per month. At a stage, he asked what should he do for God and I told him to sow a seed, which he did. He sowed a seed of #100,000 and after the exercise, a company in the United Kingdom called him for a grueling interview. I thank God that he got the job. The U.K. company, however, invited him over to resume work there. The company processed his papers, sent them to him in Nigeria and also paid for all his travel expense to the U.K. Praise the Lord!
The company also gave him accommodation in one of the best places in London. The most juicy part of his testimony is that he called me to say, he is one of the top five highly paid people in the U.K.
I sincerely appreciate God for what He has done for my son and by extension, my family. It pays to faithfully serve God. I pray for our General Overseer that God will continue to bless him and grant him his desires and at the end of this life, all of us will make it to heaven in Jesus’ name… Amen!
