Buhari, Osinbajo, Saraki, Ambode, Others To Grace Event
COME January 29, all roads will lead to Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos, venue of this year’s interdenominational programme with the theme: “Jehovah Ebenezer” organised by the General Overseer of Manna Prayer Mountain Interdenominational, Worldwide and publisher of Our Daily Manna (ODM), Bishop (Dr.) Chris E. Kwakpovwe.

At a press conference in his office in Ogudu, Lagos, last Sunday, Bishop Kwakpovwe, said the event is the climax of the 21-day prayer and fasting, which started on January 9.

“It is interdenominational and the 21 days fasting started from January 9 to 29. Each year, God talks to me about what He will do and this year, He says He has done it before and shall do it again and that is what ‘Ebenezer’ means. He says I should tell the participants that He would wipe their tears. The Lord asked me to start this and it has become like a national slogan.

“I believe that things are not going well in this country and we need a revolution. There will be real chaos in this country and weeping will be so much, but God will come in through this programme to wipe people’s tears. Don’t forget that Joseph was revealed in crisis and I revealed ‘Our Daily Manna’ when I was in crisis, during my suicide attempt, the dark years of my life.”

The cleric, who also commented on national issues, noted that though Nigeria is in a dark era, but there will be light, if President Muhammadu Buhari continues with his anti-corruption drive without deviating. He said God told him that there wouldn’t be any civil war again in Nigeria.

On the personalities that are expected to grace the event, the pharmacist turned pastor said: “We are expecting President Buhari, his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President, Dr. Olubukola Saraki and many politicians, including the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.
