God has the power to do anything and all things under the heaven. The entire heaven and earth and everything therein are under His control.

Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
God has the power to do anything and all things under the heaven. The entire heaven and earth and everything therein are under His control. Power belongs to Him and He uses it to the benefits of mankind. At the same time whatever he plans, he executes with ease. It is in expression of God’s ability to do all things that the Bible in Isaiah 46:9-11, says: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

The word of God stands from generation to generation; whatever He proposes He executes to the last letter. God determined the creation of the earth and with spoken words He called everything into existence.

According to the Bible, the whole earth was in darkness and God said in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light: and there was light.” As the light came into existence, it separated itself from darkness. The light became the day, while darkness is called night. The water that filled the whole earth was separated from the land and the land produced trees, herbs and both wild and domestic animals. In that manner every other thing were created.

On the last day, God moulded man from clay and breathed into his nostrils and he became a living being. All these happened according the divine determination.

It was solely God’s decision that Abraham should leave his people, his country to a place God would show him. In accordance with God’s instructions, Abraham left his home country, Ur of Chaldeans with his wife, Sarah, to Canaan –– The Promised Land.

Abraham’s descendants have already settled on the land, when God again decided they move to Egypt, as a way of escape from the ravaging famine. So, they left to a place where there was enough food to sustain them. The family of Jacob, Abraham’s second grandson under God’s watchful eyes went down to Egypt where they resided for 430 years.

In course of their continued residing in Egypt, a Pharaoh who never knew Joseph arose and began to use them as slaves, engaging them in unpaid labour; killing their newborn sons and forcefully taking their daughters. God again decided they leave Egypt to the Promised Land, but Pharaoh was unwilling to release them because he was afraid of losing the cheap labour they provided.

However, God in His mightiness delivered them from Egypt. Several landmines were laid on their way, but God brought them to the Promised Land. God will always give His people an expected end as the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God will never disappoint His people; He will always give them a soft landing. The situation may be very bad and ugly, but at the intervention of God the beneficiaries will smile at last. He has the answer to all human problems.

Again, God determined that a saviour of the world would come through a virgin birth. The Bible presents it thus in Isaiah 7:10-14, “Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord. 13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Another confirmation of this divine decision and its fulfillment came in Matthew 1:20-23, “But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

In line with divine determination the pregnant Virgin Mary, eventually gave birth to our Lord Jesus Christ, the saviour of mankind.

Historically, whatever God determines must surely come to pass, so, your situation will not be different. God has determined it and it will come to pass in your life. There is nothing too hard for God, according to Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” Your problem maybe to have the fruit of the womb, poverty, sickness of any kind, including madness; God has the power to crush all and to give you the desired freedom.

In the forthcoming programme of the Lord’s Chosen, Mgbidi 2022 Lagos Experience, holding from January 6 to 9, 2022, at Chosen International Headquarters, Ijesha, Lagos, participants will witness the mighty move of God’s power. Attendees will surely go back better than they had come. So, keep a date with God and you will be glad at the end.

God has determined a lot of good things for those who are willing to obey His words. Blessings of God come through obedient to his words and for anyone to enjoy the touch of God’s power such a person must be born again. He/she must repent from his/her sins by giving his/her life to Jesus Christ. There is nothing too hard for God to do in your life; and whatever he decides to do, He will surely do. The only condition to witness His mighty blessing in your life is to make yourself available for Him. Obeying his words and it shall be well with you.
