There shall be restoration of all things

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, restoration is bringing back a lost, damaged or defaced item to its former position or condition. It could equally be returning lost glory

Sister Amarachi Chukwu and her Brother, Chigozie, both deaf and dumb received their healing recently at the Chosen programme<br />

Psalm 51:12-13, “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.”

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, restoration is bringing back a lost, damaged or defaced item to its former position or condition. It could equally be returning lost glory, peace or even a joyful state of mind. From the time man fell from God’s glory and eventually lost the Garden of Eden, man has continued to part with precious gifts of God, ranging from material wealth through personal freedom to the salvation of his soul.

The Devil who lured a man into the sin of disobedience to God’s Word resulting in sending a man out of Garden of Eden has caged man into the bondage of sin, denying him freedom and desire to serve God his Creator in holiness and righteousness. The situation the Devil plunged man into is helpless and hopeless. The Bible even confirms it in Joel1:12 saying, “The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men”.

The activities of the devil and his agents have put a man into the uncomfortable position of losses. There are afflictions of sicknesses in the land. Man lost his salvation, thereby committing sins with reckless abandon, thinking less about things of God or making heaven at last. Many people are continuously languishing in the baptism of sorrow, as joy has taken flight from their lives, hence they are helpless. It is only God’s intervention that can restore their joy and other losses.

In the lead scripture above, the psalmist is crying unto God for the restoration of the joy of his salvation to enable him to serve and work for God, thereby bringing sinners to repentance and with a view of making heaven at the end of their lives. It is on this backdrop the Bible promises in Joel 2:25-26 saying, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”.

As promised above, this is Divine intervention for restoration in several folds. The fruits of your labour in the field will be blessed and protected from devourers. In the course of time, your service to God’s vineyard will be recognised and rewarded accordingly. God will ensure the salvation of your soul, and the desire to serve Him will be reactivated, endowing you with the boldness to preach the gospel to sinners. At this time, shame will no longer be your portion. You are blessed to impact the lives of people around you. Your effort will lead them to the salvation of their souls and restoration of whatever they have lost in the past. Hence, the Bible says in Nehemiah 8:10, “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” When you are enjoying God’s blessings, remember the less privileged, especially the people in God’s household.

The Bible directs you send portions to them. You also follow up the brethren that are weak spiritually, so that they do not lose out in the course of the trials of the heavenly race. You should carry along and encourage as many people as possible into repentance and helping them to remain with our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord is your strength. This implies that whatever you do must be in line with God’s Will. If God is with you, nobody will be against you. You must remain with the Lord for the sustainability of these blessings. It is also pertinent to note that whatever problems encountered in the past are clearly the consequences of sin, giving leeway for the devil’s penetration. In order to effectively checkmate that evil one, you must never go back to Egypt. Sin is a reproach to a people and brings about evil things; it must be avoided at all times. Whoever breaks the hedge must suffer snakebites, but one who maintains holiness and righteousness will enjoy God’s protection; nothing happens to him and his property, including family members.

As you live your life according to God’s Will, more blessings and restorations will come because your prayers will always be answered. The Bible assures us that in John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it”. God is always prepared to give attention to the prayers of people that serve and obey Him with all their heart. They are His obedient Children whom He will not deny anything good. He does not answer sinners’ prayers.

You, reading this message, if you have not repented and given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you need to do so immediately. There is no need for procrastination. Nobody knows when the trumpet will sound, for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to rapture the saints. If Jesus tarries incoming, death can come at any time. Whoever dies without repentance has no opportunity of repentance in the grave. Now you are alive, give your life to Jesus Christ before it is too late. Your repentance will qualify you apart in Christ and eventually earn you a position and abode in heaven at last. And any request you make to God in prayer will be granted. So, waste no time again; surrender your life now to God. 1Tim2v3-4 says “For this good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, who will have all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Note that “all men” includes you, therefore God desires that you be saved.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Set Free From The Den Of Ritual Killers

PS23v4 says “Yea, though l walk through the valley of the shadow of death, l will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”

THE above quotation aptly depicts the terrible situation l went through at the hands of ritual killers.

My name is Sis. Martina Chioma Udelue. I reside at Kadiri, Abuja and I joined The Lord’s Chosen in May 2008. I appreciate God for making me a Chosen.

My first testimony goes thus: During one of the combined vigils, the Pastor asked us to pray and forgive those that offended us, and I did. I also asked God to forgive me of my own sins and within that period, I dreamt and saw myself being operated upon by the Angels of God with the face of The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen, and four others wearing the Chosen Apron. At the end of that encounter, I woke up. It happened that I was having a stomach problem, which had been tormenting me for five months. But at the end of that encounter, the stomach problem disappeared. Praise the Lord!

Secondly, I thank God for using me to save the life of a woman who was in labour. As I prayed for her after prolonged labour, she was delivered of a bouncing baby boy, to God’s glory.

Finally, I thank God for delivering me from the hands of ritual killers, on my way to a vigil. I boarded a car, which unknown to me, belonged to ritual killers. Inside the car were other passengers, so I had no slightest idea that the car belonged to ritual killers. It was when I arrived at Dutse in Abuja and wanted to alight that they revealed their identity to me and threatened my life. At that point, I declared to them that I am Chosen. I also told them that they would not do me anything, because I am a Chosen and the daughter of Pastor Lazarus Muoka, The G.O. of Chosen. I continued to shout this, as they did not want to let me alight.

Eventually, they took us to a particular place and ushered us into a house, where it was difficult to distinguish between day and night. They brought us into the place on Friday night and by midnight the following day (Saturday), they brought us out and told us that the time for us to go had come. It was then I realised that the four of us that boarded that car were held captive. We were two males and two females. But among us, I was the only one shouting to be released. It was at this point that the other passengers started crying. They asked us to say our last prayers and I replied that I had prayed and could not say any last prayer, because I am a Chosen and the daughter of Pastor Lazarus Muoka, and so nothing would happen to me. They told me that I was disturbing them. When my co-travellers had finished saying their last prayers, they lined us up. I was the second person in the queue. They called the first person, a man, and cut off his head. They came to me and I shouted that I am a Chosen, I am a Chosen, I am the daughter of Pastor Lazarus Muoka. I shouted that severally to the extent that they told me I was disturbing them. Without delay, I was taken to the back of the line. In my presence, they executed the remaining two persons by cutting off their heads. Again, they came back to me, and with a loud voice, I repeated who l am.

At this juncture, their Leader came out from inside and queried, “who is disturbing us?” They told him that I was the one and he looked at me, went in and came back and ordered them to leave me for my pastor to come and release me from their enclave. It was at this point that the man who brought us into the place took me to the gate and asked, “Are you a Chosen?” I answered in the affirmative, and he told me to stay there, and let them see whether that my God would come to deliver me from their hands or my Pastor would come to rescue me, otherwise, I would remain there and no one would know my whereabouts. I did not know what to do, but I sat down on a stone I saw nearby and started weeping. I cried and called on God of Chosen to come to my rescue. As I was lamenting that night, I saw a car’s flashlight. As the car approached the spot where I was sitting, the driver lowered the glass of the car door and I stood up from where I was sitting. The car was purely white in colour, with neither stain nor spots. The man in the car asked me to enter, but I refused initially. I was afraid to follow him, to avoid a repeat of what I passed through in the ritual killers’ hands.

At a point, I was convicted to join him. When I wanted to join him in the front, he asked me to sit in the back seat. And even though I entered the car, my mind was not at rest. At intervals, I kept saying that I am a Chosen; I am a Chosen and the daughter of Pastor Lazarus Muoka. While saying this, the man just kept smiling and never uttered a word. At a point, I was tired of shouting that I am a Chosen and my spirit asked me to leave him alone. All this while, I did not tell him where I was going, but I was surprised when he dropped me at my bus stop and asked me to alight. Initially, I did not know I was at my bus stop until I came down and he drove off. My brothers and sisters, that was how the Angel of God that works with The Chosen came to take me out of the den of ritual killers and I walked out into freedom. To God be the glory. Praise the Lord!
