Text: Romans 8: 16-18.
When you hear that there’s glory ahead, you’ll know that your present situation is not your final destination. The glory of God is the solution for every reproach anyone will ever face on earth. There’s always a glory awaiting your sufferings, so never give up until you have seen the glory. No matter the challenge you might be going through, as a child of God, there are good times ahead, which shall be far greater than that challenge.

The glory of God is the evidence of God’s goodness and grace. The glory of God is also the proof of His presence.

You may be going through unpleasant seasons in your life, marriage, academics or business and it looks like nothing is changing. The Bible says, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”

The challenge in this present time is nothing compared to the glory ahead. Therefore, be strong in the Lord, study the Bible and pray, for God will not leave you alone in that situation. He said in Isaiah 43:2 “when thou passeth through the water, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

So arise, shake off the dust of hopelessness and depression for there’s glory ahead. And when that glory begins to manifest in your life, you’ll be attractive to everyone, the pain and shame will be gone. God’s grace in your life will be undeniable, and where others are confused and afraid, you’ll be bold because God’s wisdom will be seen evident in all that you do. You’ll have robust peace and joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Expect to see His glory come through in your situation, no matter how dark things may look, because for a child of God, there’s no disadvantage. Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to God who are called according to His purpose.”

Finally, Jesus was praying for His disciples in John 17:20-22, He said: “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one as thou, father art in me, and I in thee that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.” This suggests to us that for you to receive the glory ahead, you need to surrender your life to Jesus. So, if you are willing to repent and surrender your life to Jesus Christ, then say this prayer now: “O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God.”
