UNN Matriculates 5,000 Freshers
VICE-Chancellor, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), Prof Benjamin Ozumba has warned newly admitted students to avoid anything that will bring disrepute to the university or face expulsion.
Ozumba gave the warning in Nsukka during the 42nd matriculation ceremony, which saw 5,750 students took the matriculation oath. He urged the new students to embrace the vision of school: to seek truth, teach truth and preserve truth.
He said: “As today’s occasion qualifies you to be addressed as lion and lioness, you must therefore avoid anything you will do that will bring
disrepute to the institution.
“Avoid exam malpractice, cultism, indecent dressing, rather focuses your attention towards hard work that will enable you to make good grade on graduation.
