Waiting in habitual fellowship with God

ENOCH walked (IN HABITUAL FELLOWSHIP) with God after the birth of Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. “…And Enoch walked (IN HABITUAL FELLOWSHIP) WITH God and he was not, for God took him (home with God).” Genesis 5:22 & 24 AMP

The Man Enoch
It is recorded twice in close succession that Enoch walked in habitual fellowship with God (Amplified version). He was a married man. He had sons and daughters. He had marital responsibilities, yet that did not deter him from having a close, intimate habitual fellowship with God. This means that we have no excuse.

The book of Jude tells us Enoch was a prophet. His spiritual eyes were open to see ahead of his days. He beheld the second coming of Christ. Jude 1:14. He saw clearly into the spirit realm and predicted many future events. Enoch walked with God to the point that he entered the God realm. He had multiple visions. He lived more in the spirit realm than the earthly realm.

It is not just that God irrationally decided to abduct or kidnap Enoch. It is rather that Enoch qualified before he was upgraded or translated. Enoch lived in that dimension so much. He had so many heavenly encounters prior to his being permanently translated. The Bible says flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, neither doth corruption. 1Corinthians 15:50. Ever before Enoch was translated into glory, he had already crossed the boundary.

They are many through the years, from the Old Testament era down to the New Testament era and down to our present age who have lived such lives. This is the true purpose for which you and I were created. “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good and what doth the Lord require of thee…to walk humbly with thy God.” Micah 6:8

Enoch came on the world stage 134 years before Noah was born. This means that Enoch also met the gross wickedness that was on earth during Noah’s days. Yet, in the midst of a very corrupt society, he was able to maintain a consistent walk with God.

The Man Noah
But Noah found grace (favour) in the eyes of the Lord. “This is the history of the generations of Noah; Noah was a just and righteous man blameless in his (evil) generation. Noah walked (IN HABITUAL FELLOWSHIP) with God.” Genesis 6:8,9 AMP

I want to put it to you that the only way to live above, and free from the evil and wickedness that is all around us is to walk in habitual fellowship with God. Life abhors a vacuum. You either become full of or caught up with God or you will become overtaken by the world. This is what Noah did.

Hebrews 11:7 says he was warned of God of things not seen. Men that walk with God see the invisible realm. You cannot walk with God of all spirits without being enabled to see into the unknown, invisible world. He heard God speaking to him. He received precise instructions from God as to the building of the ark. He was shown the pattern of its construction, and was given details as to the number of animals he was to harbour on board. His walk with God was a two-way communion, a dialogue, if you may say and not a monologue.

How Does One Walk With God In Habitual Fellowship?
“Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you.” James 4:8
Amplified version says, “Come close to God and he will come close to you.”You see; the ball is in your court. You are the one to make the move. Stop asking God to show up. You are the one to show up first. When you show up consistently, He will show up.
