Teachers urged to help students curtail mathematics fright

Mathematics teachers have been advised to assist students overcome their fear of the subject by making it exciting, simple and understanding.A Colombia based mathematic teacher, Bernardo Recaman Santos, of the Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, described the subject, which is dreaded by many students, as fun and relaxing.
