Mrs Gladys Uche Okafor-Halim (Nee Nwaokocha) was born in Sabon-Gari, Kano State on May 17, 1945 to the family of Mr. Michael and Mrs Patience Nwaokocha, devout Catholics, who hailed from Ibusa, Delta State.
