The Sahel’s unending insecurity

Nigeria is one of the 10 countries in the Sahel as defined by the United Nations Integrated Strategy for the Sahel (UNISS). Others are Senegal, Gambia, Mauritania, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.
