Malaria drug, chloroquine, treats brain cancer

The Federal Government in 2005 banned the use of Chloroquine and Sulfadoxine - Pyrimethamine as first line drugs in the treatment of malaria because increasing evidence of drug resistance, which had led to treatment failures.
