THE Chairman, Board of Directors, Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, (NIMASA), Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas (rtd), has urged the electorate to eschew politics of religion as they come out en-mass today to vote for candidates that would take Taraba State to the promised land. Kefas expressed sadness at the way and manner the people have continued to mix religion with politics, noting that the attitude if not urgently addressed would continue to retard the growth of the state.

THE Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Habib Abdullahi has called for the urgent convocation of a national conference on the delineation of functions amongst agencies of government, responsible for maritime safety and security. According to Abdullahi, the conference, which he said was long overdue, should be tripartite in nature with the active participation of the Marine Police, the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Maritime Administration & Safety Agency (NIMASA).
