Nigerian owned club, the Super Green Football Club (SGFC) of Maryland, yesterday in the United States’ American Soccer League (ASL) beat AFC Lancaster Lions 2-1 in their opening game of the season.

Head Coach of the United States (U.S.) based Super Green Football Club (SGFC) of Maryland, Richard Opanuga, has disclosed that the club’s promotion to feature in this season’s American Soccer League will benefit Nigerian footballers.
