Glo 4G LTE service has received commendations from its subscribers around the country where it has coverage. A Surulere, Lagos-based fashion designer, Titilayo Lawal, said she ported from another network into Glo because she believed she was not getting commensurate value for the money she was spending on data bundles, and that her story changed the moment she joined Glo.

She described the Glo 4G service as “impressive,” adding “it is good. It is very fast no matter the amount of attachment you are sending. I love the service.”

The Fashion Designer observed that there were some desired locations where she spends considerable part of her time in that are yet to enjoy Glo 4G LTE service. She called on Globacom to extend the network to these locations as soon as possible.

The launch of Globacom’s 4G LTE service has generated wild interest across the country as many subscribers clamoured for the swift extension of the coveted service to more locations to enable them savour the advantages of the advanced network being enjoyed in other parts of the country.

Some of the subscribers said that although Globacom had more 4G LTE coverage areas in Nigeria than any other operator, they would still love to see the service extended to their respective home cities and villages.

In Abuja, a Bureau De Change operator based in Zone 4, Wuse, Abuja, Maniru Saminu described the Glo 4G LTE service as a breath of fresh air, especially in the area of fast internet connection. He said this has led him to abandon all earlier alternatives.

“I really appreciate Glo 4G service. It is very fast. I am enjoying the internet service, I do not experience delays doing streaming and downloads. I also do my internet banking transactions with ease,” said Saminu.

He said he was so impressed by the marked difference in quality of service that he encouraged his friends in the same business to subscribe to Glo 4G and quit complaining adding “I even gave my old Samsung S7 Edge phone to one of my friends to use and he has subscribed. The second person will soon subscribe. I want to urge Globacom to bring the service to Kano, my home state so we can enjoy it over there also.”

From Wuse 2, Abuja, another subscriber, Stephen Obembe, praised Globacom for implementing the 4G LTE services in Abuja. Obembe who ported to Globacom from another network noted: “It’s been great. Glo 4G has been good, very good. I use a lot of data for my business and I am really satisfied with the service. I am very happy I ported to the Glo network.”

Globacom said that customers who have upgraded to Glo 4G LTE network will not wish to use any other service again because of its superior quality.

“Glo LTE network is one of the very best you will find anywhere in the world. Apart from an expansive, nationwide state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure which our 4G LTE network is predicated on, it is also riding on the much sought-after spectrum band 28. This gives it a strong edge,” said the data masters through a press statement.

The company said it has an excellent wide area coverage and wider bandwidth availability, data capacity and higher performance.

“It also has much better indoor reception than other frequency bands because of unparalleled ability to penetrate building walls and similar obstacles”, the statement said.

It disclosed that the company is working diligently to take the service to more parts of the country, pleading with subscribers to exercise patience. The company said the network has been configured in such a way that subscribers will never be stranded even when they move out of Glo 4G LTE network coverage.
