Itel launches high-performance solar solutions in Nigeria

Itel, known for its affordable mobile technology, has expanded into the energy sector with the launch of its solar energy solutions in Lagos, Nigeria.

The unveiling took place at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, where Itel Energy introduced its new IP54 and IP66 inverters, designed to provide clean and reliable power for Nigerian households.

The IP54 and IP66 inverters offer up to 200% overload capacity for stable power. The IP54 model is for indoor use, while the IP66 is suited for outdoor conditions with a higher level of protection against water and dust. Both models are built to handle Nigeria’s high temperatures and rainy seasons, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging environments.

Farrah Huang, Global Marketing Director of Itel, highlighted the significance of the new inverters for Nigeria’s energy market, noting the country’s electricity challenges and high fuel costs.

Itel Energy aims to address these challenges with accessible and high-quality solar solutions to contribute to transforming Nigeria’s energy landscape.
