Firm introduces virtual platform for COVID-19 assessment tests

Xerde Technology Limited, which is currently leveraging collaborative efforts to respond to the COVID-19 situation in Nigeria, has built a virtual platform called the COVID Response NG to help mitigate the health, economic and social impact of the current global and public health pandemic.

According to the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xerde Technology Limited, Khadijat Abdulkadir, the creation of COVID response NG website; www.covidng.com and mobile application enables users to carry out a free COVID-19 assessment test, as well as bring volunteers under the various Taskforce.

Abdulkadir said the Taskforce include; Emergency and Clinic identification Taskforce, Covid-19 assessment Taskforce, Information Taskforce, Food Security Taskforce and Social media Taskforce, which are headed by professionals.

She said the virtual platform has recorded over 846 free online Covid-19 assessment test, with 121 volunteers in their Taskforce.

She added: “ The Food Security Taskforce has currently surpassed its fundraising target via a Social Financial platform; TUDO and has partnered with food vendors and logistics companies to help distribute food items and relief materials to some of the residents of the Ifako Ijaye Local government Area of Lagos.”
