Unknown gunmen have killed the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 4 (Olomu Ward 1), Ughelli South council area of Delta state, Paul Onomuakpokpo.
The victim was attacked at about 7 pm on Wednesday night, along Ogoni road, near the palace of Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom.
Onomuakpokpo was leaving the building site where he went to supply sand when the gunmen in a White Toyota Camry opened fire on him.
The Delta State police command has confirmed his killing.
