Ogun State government’s security outfit, the So-Safe Corps, yesterday, arrested one Rasheed Adesanya for allegedly defiling a nine-year-old girl in Ijeun Tuntun area of Abeokuta, the state capital.

The Corps’ spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, said the case was reported to the agency’s headquarters by the girl’s parents.
 
He said the parents reported that they saw blood flowing profusely from the private part of the little girl after she was roughly touched by the suspect.
  
Upon the complaint, the Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo ordered the arrest of the culprit, who is a co-tenant of the victim’s parents.

He said: “The suspect was interrogated on the matter while the little girl confirmed that it was true.

“The suspect has been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Ibara Divisional Police Headquarters, alongside  the victim and  her parents for further investigation and likely prosecution.”
