We have seized drugs worth over N130billion, says Marwa
The Chairman and Chief Executive of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have said that the agency seized drugs worth over N130billion in the last one year.
The chairman, in a stock-taking briefing, also told newsmen that 10.4million kg of drugs has been seized within the one year of his stewardship.
Marwa marked one year in office. The briefing is part of activities to celebrate the successes recorded by the agency.
The NDLEA boss noted that the agency was in a bad state when he took over.
“NDLEA was a forgotten agency, under-funded and under-staffed. There was no promotion.”
Details later.
