Àgbà Akin facilitates Tech Scholarships to 12,000 Nigerian Students via aptLearn

Tech enthusiasts have taken to their Social Media to rejoice and thank Akinola Abdulakeem who’s popularly knowns as Àgbà Akin for their Scholarship to learn Web Development with the new UK and Pan Africa tech startup called aptLearn (https://aplearn.io)

Àgbà has been teaching students how to code using his social media platform for a while now, especially on Twitter where he has now amassed thousands of followership.

“I am very pleased to use my platforms, knowledge, and resources to help thousands of people in Nigeria and other African countries, Technology is the new oil, and helping students acquire skills in related fields brings me joy”, he reveals.

Over 12,000 students were beneficiaries of this scholarship worth £200GBP.

According to him, the students earned the scholarship by enrolling in his free software and web development classes to become a developer, an exam was created after the sessions, and students who met the cut-off criteria were subsequently offered a scholarship to study web development (frontend & backend) with a UK company called aptLearn.

Akinola Abdulakeem, who’s co-founder and currently the CEO at aptLearn said Students who perform significantly above the requirements will be gifted with various prizes, and the announcement will be in the coming days.
