TranESS C&I recently held an acceptance and handover ceremony for a Commercial and Industrial energy project delivered for a hotel in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. The ceremony brought together representatives of TranESS C&I, the hotel and KizzyTech, the project’s EPC partner, to formally mark the handover and celebrate the successful delivery of the energy solution.

The project includes a DYQUE energy storage solution with a 125kW inverter capacity, 241kWh battery capacity and a 93kWp solar PV system comprising 150 units of 620W solar panels. The system was delivered in partnership with KizzyTech, whose technical expertise and involvement supported the successful installation and implementation of the project.

Since its installation, the system has been running successfully and providing the hotel with reliable power for its operations without the need to depend on its generator as its primary source of power. Its performance reflects the growing opportunity for businesses to adopt solar and energy storage solutions that provide dependable electricity while reducing reliance on conventional power sources.

Speaking during the ceremony, Mr Abiodun Wasiu, Business Development Manager at TranESS, said the project represents the successful transition from an identified energy challenge to a fully deployed solution designed to support the hotel’s power reliability, operational efficiency and energy needs. The acceptance and handover ceremony also provided an opportunity for the parties involved to formally recognise the relationship established through the project. During the event, the hotel and TranESS C&I signed a five-year warranty certificate covering the system, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing continued support beyond installation.

Beyond the five-year warranty, the hotel will also have access to after-sales service for the duration of its use of the inverter. With an extensive after-sales support network across Nigeria, customers can access technical assistance and service support when required, providing continued support throughout the life of their energy systems.
