It took security operatives several hours to disperse thugs, who took over Dutse Stadium, venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primaries, and disrupted it.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Dutse, Attahiru Mohammed, said: “We’re on top of the situation to clear the place for a conducive primaries as scheduled. I have ordered my men to clear the stadium for the event, and I assure you we will conquer.”

Sale Hadejia, a contender from Hadejia, had accused the PDP caucus of bias for Mustapha Sule Lamido, the son of former governor, Sule Lamido.
