A MEETING of All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirants at the instance of Governor Muhammad Abubakar, to produce a consensus candidate has ended in a deadlock.

Reliable sources said lack of quorum frustrated the meeting, as only four of nine contenders attended. Other reasons include holding the meeting outside the state, as it was learnt that the meeting held at the governor’s Kano residence.

Some of the aspirants present at the meeting include the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Namadi, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia and Senator Mohammed Nakudu.
