A former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu, yesterday, lauded President Muhammadu Buhari on the naira notes redesigning.

Ojikutu, in a statement by her media office in Lagos, also commended the Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, for the initiative and the secrecy surrounding the decision to redesign the new currencies.

She, therefore, urged strict monitoring of the redesigning to avoid insider sabotaging the move to strengthen the naira.
