To check the moral decadence in the society, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Bluvard Education Initiative, has charged youths to promote their creativity.
The founder, Esther Edward, gave the challenge during the organisation’s Creative Xpress programme.
She noted that many talented young Nigerians were in need of platforms to explode, urging youths to begin somewhere.
Her words: “Part of what we are doing is aimed at redefining what it means to be educated for young people from low-income backgrounds in rural communities, by leveraging power of technology and creativity to promote future-forward learning programmes. The Creative Xpress is to give youths the platform to express themselves. Talent is universal, but opportunity is not.”
Group Managing Director of Brandeye Media, Femi Adelusi, urged young Nigerians to embrace alternative means of education geared at exhibiting their creative talents.
“Everyone has a bit of creativity in him or her. There is need to identify that which makes a youth different and stands out,” he said.
A digital artist and graphics designer, Praise Chinedum Edward, on her part, charged youths to be focus and never give up on their dreams.
