Edo supported Tinubu, must benefit at Federal level — Oshiomhole
Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has said that he would represent Edo North, but with an obligation to ensure that the state gets dividends of democracy from the All Progressives Party (APC) administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Oshiomhole spoke during the post-inauguration/thank you party hosted in his honour by friends and well -wishers at his country home, Iyamho, Etsako West Local Council of Edo State.
He thanked the Afemai people for voting for him in the February 25 general elections. He said: “ There were sitting governors who contested for senate across the country, and many of them lost. I left office seven years ago, and my people still honoured me with victory. How can I thank you enough?”
“In Etsako land and everywhere, APC won. Today, I can say I will proudly carry the results of Afemai people and I will tell the President, “ This is my certificate, my people voted for you”.
While thanking Dennis Idahosa and Billy Osawaru for delivering their respective constituencies to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he, however, assured the people that the president would change the face of Nigeria and would make “Edo State better even than Lagos.”
