Don lauds President for appointing Agbaje as tax reforms c’ttee member

Urges her to represent varsity, youths very well

Head of Department of Economics, University of Ibadan (UI), Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, yesterday, lauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400-Level Economics student of the premier university into the tax reforms committee. Adenikinju urged Agbaje to represent the university and Nigerian youths very well.

The Economics professor, who spoke with The Guardian in Ibadan, said Tinubu had demonstrated the commitment to make a difference in the country.He said: ”The President made us proud by appointing one of our students to the very technical committee. It shows that the President really wants to make a difference.”

The don, therefore, urged Agbaje to justify the confidence reposed in her by representing the young demography and the premier university well. The don said: ”The lady has equally made us proud. I know the lady very well. She is bright, articulate and intelligent. She will deliver. She should represent us and the youth very well.”
