
The directive asked Aziz to commence a 90-day pre-retirement leave effective August 24, ahead of his eventual disengagement from service on November 24.
In his place, the Nigerian leader announced Bisoye Coker-Odusote as new helmsman in acting capacity for a 90-day period.
The appointment is with effect from August 24, after which he would begin a full term of four years as substantive head of the organisation from November 24.
His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement, said the President also approved the appointment of Yusuf Buba Yakub as Director/CEO of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).
“This follows the recent expiration of tenure of the former DTAC Director/CEO, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi,” the statement explained.
