The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command has arrested a  22-year-old, Issa Muhammed, for absconding with a 2012 Toyota Camry handed over to him for cleaning in Isheri area of Lagos State.
 
Muhammed, who was engaged at a car wash, was arrested on Sunday, September 10, in the Agege area of Lagos State, where he parked the car to link up with a buyer.
 
Spokesperson for Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the car was handed over to the suspect three hours earlier by its owner in preparation for a family outing later in the afternoon.
 
According to him, Mohammed removed the number plate of the car, and discarded all identities linking the car to its owner immediately he arrived Agege. Hundeyin said the suspect would be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
