There is a strong spirit in the village. If you are not strong as a Christian, they will delay your destiny for years. They may even terminate one’s life if you don’t know what to do. A lot of people are tied down spiritually in their villages, others have their destinies truncated while some have died untimely. They are all victims of village powers. Some villages, because of the level of ignorance, idolatry or lack of illumination, have become the headquarters of witches and wicked principalities.

Village powers are witchcraft or ancestral powers that operate in a village setting. They are also resident powers in the village that know every indigene and use that information to cage people’s destinies in the village. They have a spiritual database of every member of that village whether home or abroad and so can easily manipulate the lives of people.

Again, there can be wicked powers operating in certain diabolic individuals in the village and this can be responsible for perpetuating wickedness in the families of the indigenes of that village. A young man who had lived in the United States of America for quite some years travelled down to Nigeria for his father’s burial. One day, he had a dream that his picture in his international passport was replaced with a female picture. He woke up and thought that it was just a mere dream. After the burial, all efforts to return to the US failed. He made several attempts, but was always told at the embassy that the picture on his passport was not his.

His stay in Nigeria was meant to last for three months, but as at the time he was brought to me for prayers, he had spent four years. He had become very wretched and frustrated. The village powers had changed the picture on his passport, causing him to be denied visa. After running him through deliverance, he went back to the same office and the same people that rejected him granted visa instantly. The envious village powers wanted to tie him down and make a mockery of his life. I decree to you, any power standing against your progress in life will go down by fire.

Every village in Africa has a particular deity or strongman called “village ruler spirit.” This spirit controls the behavioral pattern of every indigene of the village or community. This explains why you go to some communities and discover that the people hardly attain certain educational height. It is not because there are no schools there, but the ruler spirit has placed an embargo on education on them. For some, it could be non-payment of bride price or delay in getting married. It is common to see their ladies cohabiting with men and having children here and there without marriage. Other such negative patterns could be violence, untimely death, poverty, promiscuity and polygamy.

• Any witch or wizard from my father’s or mother’s house that wants to use my head for promotion in the coven, receive fire and die in Jesus’ name.
• Anything used to represent me in my village coven or any demonic shrine catch fire in Jesus’ name.
• Follow-follow power from my village, your time is up, in the name of Jesus, die!
