Global Win Lottery has rewarded Nigerians with over N5 million scholarship and travel documents to study in universities.
Managing Director of Straight Records, organisers of the promotion, Dr. Afam Mbanefo, at the Global Win draw in Lagos, said the initiative is aimed at reengineering the academic and vocational leisure industry.
He said the gesture was to add value to Nigerians to play prominent roles in nation building.

Consequently, Mbanefo said Global Win would be screening for foreign programmes, including Bachelor of Sciences (BSc), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) and other short academic endeavours.
He said a lot of investor-philanthropists are exploring ways to give back to society.
“We have got a group of people, who won international passports. We structure the game such that everybody, who plays in the various categories, has the opportunity to experience studying in the United Kingdom, Canada and United States of America,” Mbanefo added.
Also speaking, the Lottery Manager, Global Win, Adekunle Adebayo, explained that the lottery was a form of wealth redistribution, and provides an avenue for people to realise their dream from a pool of resources.
He advised Nigerians to key into the initiative to stand the chance of studying abroad.
Adebayo added: “You can have your Bachelor of Science, Master’s or PhD done in any of the universities of your choice in Nigeria. It is also an opportunity for people, who want to travel out, especially those who want to go on their honeymoon.”
