A yet-to-be identified military personnel and a sugarcane vendor were, yesterday, crushed to death by a truck in Kwara State.
The Guardian learnt that the accident occurred at a checkpoint in Moro Local Council of the state.
According to an eyewitness, the articulated vehicle veered off the road and killed the deceased.
Confirming the incident, the sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in the state, Frederick Ade Ogidan, said: “It was a lone accident, involving a DAF truck, which lost control and hit the victims.
“They were all males but two of them died while the other two didn’t sustain any injury,” he said.
