Multi-talented media and entertainment executive, Jermaine Okpe officially hosted the third edition of the hugely anticipated BTS Masterclass on the 15th of September 2023.

This edition featured the likes of Mavin Record’s Dr. Sid, media personality, Denrele Edun and Big Brother Nigeria alumni, Dorathy Bachor, Hermes and others.

The well attended event, which held at the Famous Grouse event centre in Lagos, had numerous high points and exclusive gems.

For example, while on the red carpet, “Surulere” crooner, Dr. Sid revealed that he had retired from making music and now focuses on creating television shows and movies, as well as gaming apps. During panel discussions, hosted by Jermaine Okpe, Big Brother Nigeria star, Hermes, shared his experience dealing with stereotypes, while trying to carve a niche for himself in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Denrele Edun encouragd content creators and creatives in attendance to carve a niche for themselves and stick to it, and eventually the world will take note of them and embrace them, using his decades long career as an example.

Jermaine Okpe, also known as Jermaine OG is the founder of Jermaine Media and the convener of the Behind the Story (BTS) Masterclass. The Masterclasss began as a livestream event on Jermaine’s instagram page during the COVID-19 lockdown, and has blossomed into an eagerly anticipated event in the entertainment calender in Lagos, attended by fledging entertainers and creatives from across Nigeria. The event has hosted several top Nigerian entertainers over the past three sessions, including Dr. Sid, Denrele Edun, The Caramel Plug, Eniola Adeoluwa and several others.

Jermaine Okpe is also the host of the hugely popular BTS Reality Show podcast, which has featured Yhemo Lee, Layi Wasabi, Jenni Frank and other entertainers and influencers, garnering millions of views across several online platforms.
